Roop Nangia was named Senior Vice President, Consumer and Beverage for the Packaging Sector in July 2023. He oversees 9 manufacturing sites throughout the US and Canada. The primary market verticals he is responsible for include beverage, confectionary, home/personal care, snacks, industrial, and coffee.

Mr. Nangia joined TC Transcontinental in 2018 after the acquisition of Coveris Americas. He transitioned from a leadership role in the Meat & Dairy Group to SVP of R&D/Innovation and then to SVP of Operations, Paper. In 2020, Roop Nangia led the successful divestiture of the Paper group. He then became SVP of Sales and Business Development with functional responsibility across the packaging sector. After two years, Mr. Nangia returned to Operations, overseeing the Consumer Group and delivering profit growth. His role was expanded in July 2023 with the merging of the Shrink & Extrusion and Consumer businesses.

Roop Nangia has 25 years of experience in packaging, with various roles in sales, marketing, product development, and operations. Prior to joining TC Transcontinental in 2018, he honed his skills at Procter & Gamble, Dow, Rio Tinto Alcan, and Coveris. Mr. Nangia holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
